Rozhen Monastery in western Bulgaria, by the Pirin Mountains.
A beautiful place, with rich history. The impression was however somewhat ruined by the fact that walking in the courtyard I was faced with a monk speaking to guests badly about another nation, sharing hate speach and political propaganda. I walked in there with open heart and the sincerest intentions, and instead of peace and spirituality encountered hatred ... It just leaves a bitter taste...
